
PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR ANXIETY DISORDER STUDY We are conducting a study that will help to increase our understanding of certain kinds of anxiety. Your participation would be greatly appreciated and would help us in realizing our goal. The information gathered may help with future treatment.
In order to participate you must: * have an anxiety disorder * be between the ages of 18 and 70
If you participate in this study, you will be asked to take part in an interview and to complete several tasks. You will also complete three brief questionnaires. The study takes approximately two hours. The scheduling of this will be done to accommodate you.
Your privacy will be respected. Your name will be removed from your responses and all information you provide will be confidential and coded with a number.
As a thank you for your participation you will be given two free movie tickets. You will also be provided with a free feedback session.
Sessions will take place at Western Suffolk Psychological Services

WSPS was established in 1989 as a place where caring, qualified mental health professionals of different disciplines could work together to share resources and expertise with each other, and thereby enhance the quality of care delivered to patients. We specialize in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and related conditions, including Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Trichotillomania, as well as Tourette's Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and all forms of Mood and Anxiety Disorders in adults, adolescents, and children. |
